CJ CGV, the largest multiplex cinema chain in South Korea, opened their second branch in Los Angeles in 2017. Partnering up with them, our team set promotional strategies to extensively advertise this big event to the target group through various online and offline channels.
Closely working with marketing and creative team, I designed various marketing collaterals including microsite, web banner, prints, social posts and digtal signages, etc.

#1 Microsite for Grand Opening Event
The microsite consists of one elongated page where it helps to see the multiple contents continuously, mainly providing the visitors the new theater’s features and promotional information.
#2 Animated Web Banner
Character-driven animated web banners are highly effective touch-points for young generations familiar with the social and web environment to make them reach to the landing page and get the related information on CGV Cinema’s grand opening.

The grand opening news was also released via the indoor/outdoor digital signages in the local shopping malls with high foot traffic for several months.

The printouts such as coupons and direct mail are interactive materials for the target group as famillies and teenagers to participate in the event and access to the news about the grand opening and promotional information at their place.
